Our story began with a simple idea: to create skincare that felt good, worked beautifully, and smelled great. As a mother-and-daughter team, we started crafting our own blends of butters, oils, and scrubs in our kitchen. At first, these were just fun for us. Soon, we began gifting them to friends and family, always making each batch with the same love and attention to detail. The joy of seeing others enjoy our creations sparked something bigger.

In December of 2022, two kittens were abandoned in our yard. One was very brave, and the other was terrified. We named the brave little girl Gaia, and the scared little boy Bird because he looked like an angry bird. These kittens have since grown into big, silly cats, who inspired us to name project GaiaBird. 

By choosing GaiaBird, you support our daughter's creativity and meaningful experiences as she raises funds for a school trip to Costa Rica and participation in the 2026 Scouting America Jamboree.
